The January 2026 admission cycle has been extended to April 30, 2026. We strongly recommend applying at least a week before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues on the portal.
Absolutely — IGNOU is built for working professionals. All lectures are recorded and available 24/7. Assignments are flexible, and term-end exams are held at 3,000+ centres nationwide, typically on weekends.
You'll need: 10th/12th marksheet, graduation certificate (for PG courses), Aadhaar/passport (ID proof), passport-size photograph, and as per latest UGC guidelines — an ABC ID and DEB ID. Our counsellors will guide you through creating these.
Online mode is 100% digital — live/recorded lectures, online submissions, and digital exams. ODL (Open Distance Learning) involves printed study materials sent to you, periodic counselling at regional centres, and in-person term-end exams.
